It is situated in a prime location, where I had breathtaking views of the azure ocean and pristine sands. From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, I was greeted with a seamless blend of luxury and comfort.
My Club Room
My tastefully-designed Club room at the Intercontinental Hotel featured elegant furnishings and modern amenities. A comfortable bed and plush linens greeted me which ensured a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my Club room was the private terrace. This had a refreshing pool which is only available to a few Club Pool Access Rooms situated on the ground floor. As I stepped outside, I was greeted by the gentle caress of the tropical breeze, carrying with it the fragrance of exotic flowers.
The Club Lounge at the Intercontinental Hotel Hua Hin
The Club Lounge in the hotel is a luxurious haven that forms an integral part of the exceptional Intercontinental Hotel Hua Hin Club experience. As I stepped into this sophisticated and exclusive space, refined touches and impeccable service came together to create an atmosphere of absolute indulgence. This is where I checked in on arrival at the hotel. My bags were whisked away and I was seated with canapes and prosecco as the lounge staff expertly checked me in and explained the facilities of the hotel and the club experience.
The next day, I began my day with a delightful breakfast spread that caters to a variety of tastes and preferences. From an assortment of fresh fruits and pastries to hearty breakfast staples cooked to perfection, the Club Lounge offers a tempting array of options to fuel the day ahead. You can also help yourself to the offerings in the main hotel buffet restaurant which is next door to the Club Lounge.
In the afternoon, I treated myself to a leisurely tea experience that elevated tradition to new heights. Delicate sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an enticing selection of teas awaited me. I enjoyed the elegant ambience as I sipped my tea and savoured the delectable treats, creating cherished moments of relaxation.
As evening sets in, the Club Lounge transforms into a sophisticated venue for cocktails and canapes. I engaged in captivating conversations with fellow guests on some days and simply unwinded and enjoyed the quiet splendour of the surroundings on others. I also immersed myself in a world of luxury as I sipped on expertly crafted cocktails and sparkling prosecco. Accompanying these are a selection of delectable canapes, artfully prepared to tantalise the taste buds.

Jaras Hua Hin
Jaras Hua Hin is a fine dining restaurant that serves contemporary Thai cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, and the presentation is exquisite. Above all, I highly recommend the tasting menu, which allows you to sample a variety of different dishes.
Azure Restaurant & Bar
Azure Restaurant & Bar is the main beachside restaurant at the InterContinental Hua Hin. It offers a wide variety of international cuisine, including fresh seafood, grilled meats, and Italian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Sunday brunch, which features a live cooking station and a wide selection of desserts.
Cocco Bar
I went to the Cocco Bar, which is a great place to enjoy a cocktail or a light meal. It has a relaxed and casual atmosphere, and the views of the Gulf of Thailand are stunning. I recommend trying the Cocco Signature cocktail, which is made with fresh coconut water, rum, and pineapple juice.
Pool Bar
The Pool Bar is the perfect place to cool off with a refreshing drink on a hot day. It offers a variety of cocktails, beers, and soft drinks. The Poolside Cooler, which is made with fresh watermelon, mint, and lime juice, is a great cocktail to try.
Pirom
Pirom Restaurant is the signature Thai restaurant at the InterContinental Hua Hin. It is located in the heart of the resort, overlooking the lush gardens and the pool area. The restaurant offers a sophisticated and elegant dining experience, with a focus on authentic Thai cuisine. Sadly, it was only open for breakfast as the resort was still recovering from Covid. However, the buffet breakfast was amazing. It had everything you could want, from Thai cuisine to European and croissants to cereal, you would never go hungry. The service was exceptional and you could sit outside and bask in the morning sun with your freshly brewed coffee. I would like to make a special mention to Tiger, who was always happy and enthusiastic!
In addition to the restaurants listed above, the InterContinental Hua Hin also has a number of other dining options, including a coffee shop, a bakery, and a deli. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you’re sure to find something to your taste at the InterContinental Hua Hin.
The Location of the Intercontinental Hotel Hua Hin
Strategically positioned on the stunning beachfront, the hotel is conveniently located opposite the renowned BluPort Mall which provides a myriad of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
The hotel boasts a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and modern amenities. It consists of two distinct sections, each catering to the unique preferences and needs of guests. I stayed in The Beach Wing which is home to Club and Standard Rooms, providing a serene and tranquil ambience. Here, you can indulge in the calming sounds of the ocean waves while enjoying the picturesque view from your room. The main pool, with its inviting azure waters, is also located in this wing, offering a refreshing oasis for relaxation.
On the other hand, the BluPort Wing, connected to the famous BluPort Mall, offers a seamless fusion of convenience and luxury. The section features a variety of Standard Rooms and Suites, allowing guests to experience the ultimate in comfort and style. As an added bonus, this wing is pet-friendly, ensuring that furry friends are also welcome to enjoy a memorable stay!
No matter which section you choose to stay in, you have the freedom to access the facilities and amenities available in both wings. Whether it’s taking a leisurely stroll along the pristine beach, embarking on a shopping spree at BluPort Mall, or unwinding with a pampering session at the spa, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
