StuartMSC Cruises Voyagers Club has just had some updates rolled out to the loyalty scheme. This includes a new top tier: Blue Diamond.
The new tiers of MSC Cruises Voyagers Club are now:
- Welcome – for new joiners (0 points)
- Classic – 1-2,199 points
- Silver – 2,200-4,299 points
- Gold – 4,300-9,999 points
- Diamond – 10,000-24,999 points
- Blue Diamond – 25,000+ points
The new tier has a range of exclusive benefits in addition to those above. These are:
- A flexible check-in time with priority embarkation and dedicated drop-off luggage service – via the MSC Yacht Club check-in desk
- My Choice dining – allowing guests to dine anytime within the main restaurant’s opening hours
- A free browse internet package – for one device per member
- Free shuttle bus tickets in selected ports
- Meet and greet with ship’s captain or officer
- Priority embarkation and priority access to tender boats in port
This new level is only available by gaining points sailing with MSC Cruises and not by the MSC Status Match which allows you to match status with another cruise, airline or hotel programme.
Enhancing the existing offering for MSC Voyagers Club members
Also, as well as the new status level that has been introduced, the scheme for members of other levels has also been improved. The validity of your membership has been increased from 3 to 5 years meaning you only need to cruise once every 5 years to keep your status. If you are a Diamond or Blue Diamond member then you will get the highest priority for a cabin upgrade should one be available
One tip I would always recommend is that you sign up your family, including children, to the MSC Cruises Voyagers Club as you will give them a head start for the future to get to that fantastic top-tier status.
