I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow Terminal 4 for a couple of nights before my flight to Thailand

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal by covered walkway so you won’t get wet! The Crowne Plaza shares the building with the Holiday Inn Express and the reception area is split in 2 halves. The reception area is vast with a lovely chic bar on the Crowne Plaza side and a more casual bar on the Holiday Inn Express side. Both hotels share the same lifts.

Check in was very quick and easy and I was in the room within 10 minutes of arriving. I had booked a club room which includes lounge access and breakfast. The Club Lounge has coffee and biscuits available all day and a happy hour of wine, beer and soft drinks with hot and cold canapes for a couple of hours each evening which is a nice way to relax.

Food in the Crowne Plaza Heathrow Terminal 4

I ate in the Express Bar and Café in the Holiday Inn Express side of the hotel. I had pizza which was very nice and reasonably priced. Ideal if you just want a casual meal.

After a lovely nights sleep I went down to breakfast which is in the main restaurant in the Crowne Plaza side of the building called the Urban Brasserie. The breakfast is buffet style with tea and coffee served at the table. There was a wide selection of hot and cold items which were replenished regularly.

As I was here for 2 nights, I went into London to do a bit of sightseeing. This hotel is convenient as you can get an Elizabeth Line train direct into Central London. It takes half an hour in half an hour and they run very frequently.

After an efficient check out following my 2 night stay, I made my way to the airport for my flight to Thailand.

I would definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza Heathrow Terminal 4 for the night before a flight and if you want to go into London.
