My partner and I recently stayed at Doubletree by Hilton Stratford upon Avon for a two-night weekend getaway. Before our arrival, we contacted the hotel to request a room with a bath and we were pleased that our request was honoured.
The hotel was very quiet during our stay, likely due to the time of year and Covid. We were given a superior room which was located on the ground floor, right at the end of the corridor on the corner. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated being able to adjust the heating in our room to our liking. The only downside was that the bathroom had a glass door, which meant that the whole room was lit up when one of us needed to use it during the night.
The public areas and rooms were impeccably clean, and there was plenty of hand sanitiser available throughout the premises. The hotel bar was reasonably priced, although the service was a bit hit and miss due to the lack of staff members during the quieter period.

Breakfast on our first day was delicious and hot, but on the second day, it was served cold and was completely different from the hot breakfast we had the day before. We did mention this to the staff, and they immediately replaced it for us. Checking in and out was a breeze as we received our digital key through the app. The hotel is conveniently located close to the town centre, yet it’s situated in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful grounds and a car park, which cost us £7.50 per day.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Doubletree by Hilton Stratford upon Avon, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay in the area.
